Four times a year we run three-hour, in-person skills labs β hands-on, deep dives into a specific topic that make us measurably better therapists. Not a lecture. Reps.
Every new hire gets a scheduled, structured mentorship program β and every therapist keeps a paid 1-on-1 mentor meeting every month, for as long as they're at HIDEF.
Every clinician with under three years of experience gets a full year of intentional development β roughly 30 dedicated 1-on-1 meetings that start intensive and taper as you grow, so you're never on your own early on.
The foundation. Two focused sessions a week covering the patient experience and hospitality, the anatomy of a great first visit, and a region-by-region clinical deep dive β cervical, shoulder, lumbosacral, hip, knee, and foot & ankle β plus documentation, coding & compliance, marketing, and communicating the value of care.
Reinforcement. We revisit and cement the foundations while shifting to therapist-led clinical questions, so you're bringing your own real caseload to the table and building repeatable, defensible processes.
Depth. Case-based discussion driven by the questions coming out of your own patients β refining clinical reasoning, progressions, and the judgment that separates good therapists from great ones.
Career development. Monthly conversations about where you're headed: the certifications you want, the specialties you want to pursue, and the courses that will get you there next year.
Across the year you'll cover clinical reasoning region by region, the patient experience, defensible documentation and coding, marketing and communicating value, and β as you find your footing β your own long-term career plan.
Joining as a more experienced PT?You get a modified version of the same program β it opens at one session per week for the first six weeks instead of two β so every new teammate is set up to succeed from day one, no matter how long they've been practicing.
