Most new grads who want to specialize in sports face a trade: take a residency and live on a stipend, or take a full salary and piece together mentorship, sideline hours, and exam prep alone. The Sports Mastery Track removes the trade.

About the Role

You'll join HIDEF as a full-time physical therapist, with the same salary and commission structure as every HIDEF new grad, while completing a 12-month curriculum modeled on the top accredited sports residencies. Around your caseload, the track builds in:

• 150 structured 1:1 mentorship blocks, in-clinic and virtual, guaranteed

• 200 hours of venue coverage, including sideline work with Bigfoot FC (USL League Two and USL W)

• Surgical observation hours

• SCS exam prep, with study materials and exam fees covered by HIDEF

• Teaching and scholarship reps, plus emergency care certification

The track is engineered around Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) board certification through ABPTS. You'll qualify through the direct patient care route, and we map your hours from day one so you're application-ready on the fastest realistic timeline: about 24 months from your start date to sitting for the exam.

This is a demanding year. Expect 40-45 hours a week between patient care and track work.

Pay and benefits that back it up:

Compensation is a base salary plus commission based on visits seen, with added performance bonuses. It's how we reward great clinicians.

• [$84,750 base;( $90,000 to $100,000 typical total with commission)

• 401(k) eligibility at 1 year

• $1,000+ annual CE budget plus hosted courses, on top of covered SCS costs

• Medical, dental, and vision through Regence BCBS, with tiered Gold, Silver, and Bronze options and a HIDEF premium offset up to $275

• PTO starting at 80 hours and scaling with tenure, plus 40 hours of sick leave

• Paid holidays
